In 2015, I believe was the year, I moved to Pigeon forge, TN  because a friend of mine, Kenny Ball (which is now my husband) said that they were offering a free Bible college. 

In all honesty, I came partially because of him, but there was genuinely something in me that wanted more in life. 

I always lived a “one foot in, one foot out in the world” Christianity comprising a lot of things in my life, depending to who I was around, adapting to my surroundings. I desperately wanted and needed more of something, I just didn’t realize completely what I needed yet…

 

Once I arrived and started the Bible college, the first day, I was pretty much in amazement, I never read or dissected the Bible the way it was the first day of class! I was hooked after the first day! I used to struggle with Bulimia, an eating disorder that controlled my entire life. I was very lost, mentally tormented and didn’t have a sense of identity. 

 

World harvest and the teachings almost “rewired” my brain so to speak. I literally have a completely different mindset than I used to. It was one of the best decisions of my life, coming and going through the college. I learned who I was, how loved I was and The Love of the Lord. 

I wish I could put into words how this college, has changed my life, but I can’t. You have to just see it for yourself. You will have crazy encounters with the Lord, you will have joy bubbling up out of you for “no reason”, you will have a deep hunger to learn more and find out all that God has to offer you. 

The Executive Pastor, Matthew Johnson, who is over the college, is phenomenal. Every single time he teaches or preaches something in you changes. 

If you have a hunger for the Lord, want to know  more of the word, or simply just want to know who YOU are, you definitely should come and join World Harvest. It will affect every. single. area. of your life in a better way.
